I grew up in Pensacola, FL which is also in a Panhandle (so not close to Disney World). During my childhood, I played baseball and football as well as participating in a community choir, the Pensacola Children’s Chorus, for 10 years. I graduated from J.M. Tate High School in 2012. From there, I attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL, for 3 years, graduating in December 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication and a minor in Communication Studies. While in school, I worked as a news/sports reporter and anchor for the on-campus news station, WUFT. I also spent my last semester working as a beat reporter for ESPN Gainesville covering the Florida Gators football team. Gainesville is also where I began working towards my passion, play-by- play broadcasting. I worked in the community broadcasting high school and some community college sporting events. I also had the opportunity to travel around the Southeast from as far west as Arkansas, and as far north as North Carolina broadcasting little league baseball/softball state tournaments and World Series events. Upon graduating from the University of Florida, I moved back to Pensacola and worked as a server/bartender at Longhorn Steakhouse. I was presented the opportunity to move to Sidney and begin working at KSID Radio. It was hard moving 23 hours away from home, but so far I’ve enjoyed my time here and look forward to continuing to my work with KSID!         Favorite Drink: WaterWeirdest Place: Haunted house in PensacolaFavorite Movie: Wreck-It RalphFavorite Song: Can't pick a song, but my favorite artist is Jason DeruloFavorite Food: SushiFavorite Quote: “The difference between a successful person and others isnot a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will.” – Vince LombardiPlan for Life: Become a play-by-play broadcaster for a major networkFavorite Car: My red Dodge Ram, her name is KathrynMisc: Florida Gator graduate and huge fan, Go Gators!  KSID Radio 2018-05-25T12:43:44Z
