On Tuesday morning, March 14th, the Sidney Police Department and Cheyenne County Deputies responded to a residence on Elm Street in Sidney where James Daily, 37, had fired a gun multiple times inside his house the night before.
According to the arrest affidavit, the owner of the home, Robert Rocha told police that James had “gone crazy,” screaming at the top of his voice, and then head butted Rocha before firing multiple rounds into the walls and furniture.
Daily said the reasons for his actions were because Rocha was abusive to his sister, Jackie Daily.
James was arrested and charged with several felonies including Terroristic Threats and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.
No injuries were reported.
