The Cheyenne County Leadership Class (CCLC) has received approval from the City of Sidney and Cheyenne County Commissioners to place a bus shelter on the southeast corner of 10th Ave and King St in Sidney.
10th Ave is one of the top three used pick up spots for the public transit and Stage Line Coach and the most unsheltered. The $6,000 shelter is a project the CCLC chose to build at no cost to the city or county. All the money will come from fundraisers and donations. The maintenance on the 5’x7’ shelter will be done by volunteers.
