The eclipse is on August 21 and is expected to be viewable from Sidney at about 11:45am.

There are some street closures to plan for that weekend as well. From August 18 at 8:30am to the morning of August 21, 10th Ave from Hickory to King Street will be closed off for the historical speaker tent, beer and wine tasting tent, and the stage. The intersection of Illinois and the sidewalks will remain open.

Jackson Street from 9th to 13th Ave and 11th from Illinois to Jackson will be closed on August 19 at 7am for the car show. Jackson and 11th will reopen at 10pm that night.
