Rox, DBacks and Dodgers still deadlocked

UNDATED (AP) — It was a good day for the three contenders in the National League West. The Rockies, Dodgers and Diamondbacks remain in a three-way tie for first after winning on Wednesday.

Colorado ended its three-game losing streak as German Marquez combined with four relievers on a six-hitter in a 5-1 victory at Pittsburgh. Marquez worked five-plus innings and drove in a run on a fifth-inning bunt. Raimel Tapia went 4-for-4 with three runs scored to help the Rockies stay in the first-place tie.

Taijuan Walker returned from the disabled list and allowed a run and six hits over five innings in Arizona's fourth consecutive win, 2-1 at Detroit. Randall Delgado followed with three scoreless innings and Fernando Rodney struck out the side in the ninth for his 18th save in 21 chances. The Diamondbacks scored twice in the first inning and improved to 9-1 in interleague play this season.

The Dodgers earned their sixth straight win by scoring four times off Andrew Miller in the eighth inning to earn a 6-4 win and a three-game sweep at Cleveland. Enrique Hernandez sparked the eighth-inning rally with a solo homer after Jose Ramirez hit a solo shot in the seventh to tie the game, 2-2. Brandon McCarthy received a no-decision after limiting the Indians to a run and three hits over 5 1/3 innings.
