NSAA announces Spring Academic All-State winners

LINCOLN, Neb. - The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) released their Spring Academic All-State list on Friday. Several area students from surrounding area schools were included on the list.

From Sidney High School, for Boys Golf, Jacob Burke; Music, Bailey Bagnell and Jocilyn Hessler; Boys Track & Field, Mitch Porter and Derek Robb; and Girls Track & Field, Charlie Brockhaus and Natalie Radcliffe.

Potter-Dix High School’s Payge Hoffman earned academic all-state honors in Girls Track & Field.

Leyton had six members recognized, Janessa Carley and Destinee Henke in Music; Jeremy Carley and Josh Kruse in Boys Track & Field; and Megan Ernest and Danielle Higgins for Girls Track & Field.

Creek Valley’s Michael Rahe in Boys Golf; Samantha Schmid in Music; Tanner Crass and Pierce Leef, Boys Track & Field; and Payje Misegadis and Chloe Stupka Girls Track & Field.

From Kimball High School, for Music Patricia Casimiro and Kennedy Lewis; Boys Track & Field, Paycen Harroun and Nicholas Thomas-Lewis; and Girls Track & Field Kennedy Lewis and Carli Wurdeman.

And for Bridgeport, Drake DeMasters and Kyle Kildow, Boys Golf; Bryce Deaver and Evy Loomis-Goltl, Music; Jack Linders and Marce Vasquez, Boys Track & Field; And Bernice Mier-Velazquez and Kaitlyn Nein, Girls Track & Field.
